I'm taking part in a very cool exhibition called Wunderkammer:Heritage in the making. It is a specially commissioned cabinet of curiosities in Ireland's oldest public library, Marsh's library. It opens today, is curated by Shane O'Donoghue and Simon Doyle.
Supported by Design & Crafts Council of Ireland and Heritage Week.

It's a newish concept for Irish people that wearables straying from traditional methods and materials can/should beworthy of kudos and consideration. However, I think the value and individuality of art jewellery is gradually creeping into our psyche.
I'm in the process of setting up a small collective of Irish studio jewellers to highlight the variety and quality of work Ireland has to offer.
